| 10 Apr 2026 11:03 | Bidding requirements | How does the IEC intend to manage and mitigate the impact of exchange rate volatility and OEM cost increases due to global supply volatility over the 180-day price validity period for this auction? |
Bidders are required to factor any variable factors impacting pricing at their own consideration, to ensure their Bid Price mitigates against adequately against such factors as best as possible.
As a mitigating contingency for material FOREX implications caused by the volatility in the markets. Bidders can quote at the FOREX by close of the auction for BID evaluation and adjudication purposes. During the contracting and SLA stage should the impact on FOREX materially impacts on the awarded bidder's ability to deliver the product at that stage, the rate used will be subject to negotiation by both parties at contract negotiation/execution stage.
